    Description

    This hand cast Celtic Circle & Cross plaque made in Kinsale, County Cork, Ireland by Wild Goose Studio is made of a resin ceramic core wrapped in a thin coat of metal. It was designed by one of the original founders of Wild Goose Studios, Kathleen Smyth and represents the following, “The Celtic cross is defined by the containing circle, this confronts the ordinary and the sacred. Ordinary time, or chronos, is a single dimension, rational and logical. Sacred time is both stillness and movement, meditation and dance. Without sacred time we are deprived and become caught in the noise of civilization, blind to chance, choice, and synchronicities.” The plaque measures 5 5/8” in diameter, ½” deep and weighs 15 ounces.
