NuLifeCycles is proud to introduce the new and improved ODS Spring for Girvin forks. After selling over 4000 kits we have made more improvements and been able to lower the cost of the kit due to the wonderful feedback we have received.  Our original kits required you to disassemble the shock body itself to install a coil over compression nut and different spring retaining cups. This greatly increased the amount of work it took to get your suspension repaired. It also increased the chance of damage to the unit. Many people took the unit apart and were unable to get it back together correctly or lost all the oil in the unit. After speaking with tons of bike shops who had conducted these repairs the feedback was clear. Create a spring that used the original hardware and was much easier to install. So our answer a new spring designed to work in place of the old elastomer with no modifications!  The springs are made from high cycling Chrome Silicon wire that is intended for millions of cycles to ensure your springs don’t ever stop doing what they are supposed to do.  Springs store energy when they are compressed and typically snap back to their freestanding height with no “rebound” control. Though these springs will be paired with your Girvin ODS System for dampening we looked at the springs from every possible angle to insure max performance and control. We have carefully analyzed pitch of the coils, how many coils they have, compression rates, rebound forces, possible preload adjustments, rider weights, wire diameter, outside diameter, critical compression distance of shock body, proper freestanding height of Oil Dampening System to ensure oil stays in the correct reservoirs, inside diameter and everything you can think of to make these and exact OEM fit. We have been selling these springs for 5 years and have never had a single issue or return. An added benefit of these new springs is that they are much cheaper then the old kits. The ODS springs offer: same performance, easier installation, cheaper cost, and it reuses all the original hardware. We have spring upgrade kits for all makes and models of Girvin forks and Proflex bikes.
